Thank you so much for all of the great info you provide for us on your blog! What an unbelievable amount of information for us.

I would love to see a line with pumpkin and vanilla (not the heavy spices like cinnamon and clove). I think it would be a warm cozy scent for winter with a modern twist so that it could appeal to all ages!

Laurie

I would like to see some Christmas gift sets designed for the young ladies I buy for. Grandaughters!! Something fruity for girls. Maybe cinnamon without much kick. These kinds of sets are in all the stores right now and I'd love to give a BC set to my granddaughters.

Kristy

I also agree with something berry with a winter kick....snowberry or iceberry. Maybe use raspberry as it has a bit of a deeper, richer color than strawberry. And swirled with a white shimmer?....perfect!

Hi Gary

I would like to see us have a sea salt line.I have talk to few of my friends and they said that a cucumber/mint line would be nice because the cucumber would take the swelling out of the joints and the hint of mint would be a lite scent and very relaxing. I want to thank you for the whole line of the luxuries of the sea it is me favorit line! I hope you had a great thanksgiving. Love your blog. Take Care and keep on keepin on with the wonderful products.

Laurie Olson-Zorn

I would love to see a bar soap. I have a friend who makes wonderful goat's milk, oatmeal (along with many others) bar soap that I love!! Also, I see you used to make a tomato bar soap in the Therma Del Sol line. I would love that also. I do have clients that have asked for these.

luann v

Hi Gary, I would love a strawberry and champaigne line. Nothing is better to top off a great evening at home with your loved one.

Jacqui

Before we had received the snowflake SOH, many of my friends assumed it would be a peppermint scent....so here's another vote for something in a mint line next year!

Nora

Hi Gary!

I think a strawberry & cream, strawberry & champagne would be wonderful.
I also have to agree with the hot buttered rum scent....yummy!
Anything with a warm, cozy feel to it.
Have the line include warming products such as the body polish, foot creme, lip balm/conditioner, etc.
We definately need a "man" lip balm!
It seems men still have this "thing" about anything closely resembling girly girl. Although I have to say my son loves scented products of coconut, mango, & cucumber/melon, but not all together.
May you have many holiday blessings!

Lauri McClain

Gary... Happy Holidays... all of these ideas are wonderful...I keep hearing everyone ask for Foodie scents.. how about something clean and fresh like driving snow..maybe mixing the pepermint with a fresh eucalyptis scent. I love the champagne idea to carry through all the holidays..maybe incorporate with a shimmering body spray like the new brown sugar..LOVE...perfect for spicing up the holidays. I like the extras like scented candles.. pillow sprays...and of course a great scented SOH instant manicure. Just next year...maybe add the colorful beads like the sugar cookie blend had last year. So CUTE!!! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR GREAT CREATIONS!!!

Julie Fuqua

When I think winter, I like to think warm thoughts. A line of things that are warm like hot coco, or hot apple cider, chia tea, cappicino. These are comfort things. Make the products warming. Would not a warming chia tea SOH feel so good on a cold winter day. Or wake up to a warming cappincino body wash.

Pepermint is fine, but it is cool. Winter is cold so think warmth.

Donna Lemon-Weaver

I would like to see a cranberry-peppermint scent also could you get a cologne that isn't musky or flowery I would like something that is fresh and clean but not scented so overpowering. I have this phantom of the opera the old version that I love by Parflux but they quit making it so anything with those scents would make me a happy camper......Thanks

Andi Teague

A product that I keep on me at all times is a antibacterial hand lotion that I wish BC made.
I would love a body butter that did not smell like fresh cut grass ( thats what the therma del sol smells like), something fresh or fruity.

Brenda Nichols

Hello Gary,
Happy Holidays to you! I think something like Diamonds & Ice (cool, crisp, clean) or Strawberry & Champaign (cool, crisp and sexy) something that carries through Thanksgiving to New Years celebrations, that would be exciting!!! Cooking smells are good but that's for the food. And let's be honest I have enough cooking to do through the holidays I want to stand out not blend in. :) As far as the items/product line, something with a follow-up product. Like a warming body wash and a cooling/shimmering body lotion. Something for the sensitive tired feet (cooling/tingles), that is so delicious you don't forget them and of course beautiful lips that shimmer. Followed at night with a tingling/warming message oil. The ultimate nite cap.

Michelle

Hi Gary,
I have three daughters ages ranging from 22 to 17. The girls and all of their friends Love the BC *smell good* products however the girls always comment and say they want something for them *THE YOUNG GIRLS* So maybe a *smell good * product line that would focus for the younger genreration of girls. I know that they spend a ton of money at BBW and other Bath related stores. The younger ladies always have something Orange scented. Also anything that warms up is a hit with them. I have also noticed that they seem to be drawn to anything with the name martini or margarita in it. So maybe a wine scented line would do well for the younger crowd.

colleen

I'm new, so I'm not familiar with the holiday scents from years past. But I love the idea of a Frosted Peppermint or even a White Peppermint Truffle and/or Sugar Cookie (although it sounds like that may have been done before) line of holiday products. Whatever you end up deciding PLEASE offer a scented version of the Instant Manicure with the other products - Instant Manicure is my go to product. So here are a few ideas: Frosted Peppermint Shimmering/Sparkly Body Wash, Frosted Peppermint Silky Shimmering Body Splash/Spray, Frosted Peppermint Swirled Body Lotion (maybe with mica or something for the shimmery look) and Body Butter, Frosted Peppermint Infused Foot Soak with scrubbing beads in it (with some relaxing scent added possibly)with companion Frosted Peppermint Warming Foot Lotion, Frosted Peppermint Shimmering Candy Cane Instant Manicure, Frosted Peppermint Lip Apeel with Sparkly/Pearlized Lip Balm, Sparkly/Pearlized Frosted Peppermint Swirled Lip Gloss with Conditioners, Tingling Peppermint Hair Wash and Conditioner. Imagine sophisticated tiffany's-style packaging in the traditional tiffany's blue frosted color with pearlized white candy cane stripes and peppermint swirl disks in the same colors with the tiffany's blue having iridescence in it's frostiness and with a retro 40's style, very stylized boutique-looking labels. Or do tiffany's-style packaging and imagine how tiffany's would present 'typical' peppermint packaging: in red and white candy cane stripes and peppermint swirl disks in pearlized white and shiny red but muted and with the same retro 40's style, very stylized boutique-looking labels as above.

Jennifer

A few clients keep asking me if we have hand soaps.

I'm also a big fan of anything minty.

Whatever the line is, can we have a small scented candle to go with it? When my team was making gift baskets, we purchased candles to go with the products (unless, of course, we were making Ambre baskets - hooray for Ambre candles!).

Megan

Hey Gary!

I love the idea of a men's lipbalm! My husband is a plumber and he would love something that was more manly. Also I loved the idea about a lip stain! Ive been looking for one for a long time. Maybe a strawberry red color? My thoughts in regards to next christmas are that whatever it is, it needs very unique packaging! Nothing bright or super colorful. Something European maybe? I like the idea of not food, but come on ladies, men love women to smell like BAKING!!! LOL! My sister-in-law is a plumber as well and she wears the brown sugar cologne to work. One day a man came up to her and told her she smelled AWESOME and could she not wear it anymore because he couldnt concentrate! He said it smelled like sensual baking!

Ginger Niebur

Something nice light and minty like a bath gel, and like maybe a foot leg treatment like you get at the spa with
the cooling mint balm with a holiday name like peppermint candy or mint martini.
In two years haven't seen anything minty but the pulse point cream.
Something with a lighter scent the snowflake is too strong it lasts way too long.

Francine Haines

I think a cranberry-orange- cinnamon would be great. With three different fragrences to mix and match together you could come up with a line of 3 or 4 products. ( lip balm, lotion, pillow spray and talc)

Kim Lindemann

I would love a pomegranate line!

Bethany

I would personally love to see something pumpkin related with the strong aroma of spice and maybe a bit of vanilla. I think Beauti Control could put a nice twist on this kind of smell.

Debbie

I miss, miss, miss the Vanilla Latte scent! So does my husband. We used the foaming cleanser as a hand wash at every sink. So that's my suggestion, Vanilla Latte Foaming Hand Cleanser.

Everyone also loved and misses the Sugar Cookie scent (and diffuser reeds that smelled like it). They wanted it back this year.

I also miss the Pineapple Daiquiri scent--it instantly took me away someone relaxing and decadent. Not exactly a Holiday scent, but I'm sure you could make it work. (Hmmm, maybe Pineapple Upside Down Cake.)

I would also like a lemony cologne--maybe another dessert flavor of lemon.

As to what type of product, things can be used fast like in a shower. We know we should take the time to relax in a bath, but will we? I also love the lip balms/gels--really, really loved and miss the Coco Loco. I would use it all year and it must have a Holiday connection in some way!

Missi McConkey

I love the Butter Rum idea! Something else that might be interesting would be Chai Spice or a Mulled Wine. Those could be colors or scents. Pomegranate is also very trendy right now.

Gary:

I would love to see a holiday collection in the spirit of “spirits”—distilled spirits that is… Brandy, Cognac and Armagnac. Imagine the fantastic scents and rich, warm colors this inspiration could be to a line for both women and men! Not to mention the possibilities of rustic Old World packaging. How about a collector bottle gift set or an embellished velvet bag? Body wash, lotions, bath and body oils… an exclusive perfumed oil in an exquisite vile that fits perfectly in a clutch for a special night out. The scents give creation to lifestyle images of holiday travels to France, Spain, and Mediterranean destinations from Thanksgiving through to New Years!

Gwenda

It would be cool if you could do a Holiday Collection such as Egg Nogg Body Creme and Instant Manicue(with the nutmeg spice), or Candy Cane Lane Collection of Lip Gloss with a swirled mixture of color and frosty gloss. You could do Peachy, Grape, Cranberry, and something Chocolatey for the brown tones and you could package them in the shape of candy canes. This would be a hit with the 14 to 25 year olds for sure!Manderine Oranges seem to be a big deal at christmas so a Manderine Orange Body Collection with a Body Wash, Body Creme, Body Scrub, and a Perfume for sure would be Lovely! You really have to think about getting the lotions, body cremes, and shower body washes in a pump bottle. Customers keep saying that over and over. Love all the stuff---keep on keepin on:)

DONNA

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A BATH BOMB SOMETHING THATS FUN IN THE TUB AND MAYBE A APPLE CARAMEL OR CINNAMON.SPICE IT UP A BIT

Mary

Hi Gary,

I was speaking with some of my friends about adding new products and one comment I had was to add a massage oil that has a nice relaxing fresh scent. Love all of your comments and info. Thank you!! Have a great Thanksgiving!!!

Melpha

Hi Gary,
Hot buttered rum sounds so fine ! What about body talc. Men and women like talcum powder . Slip into some jeans after a shower and smell nice . Not a bad combo.
For the Ladies what about a creme sachet in a soft sexy fragrance ? Maybe white flowers , a little vanilla etc..You know the drill. Love your Blog.

priscilla Vollmer

I just have to say CRANBERRY does it for me, especially in a luscious lip gloss, Sweet, sticky and deep red. Similar in texture to the red hot. Pair that with a warm blush, soft eye color and gorgeous lashes. Sweet, simple, tasty,LOL. I'm such a makeup girl. Cranberry bath salts, lotion, and maybe a hand manicure too.....I'm sold.

Rhonda

I would love a Rum & Butter line (body polish, body wash, body creme). Hot Apple Cider (hot like the red hot lip enhancer we have now but scented and maybe taste like apple cider) lip balm, cologne, and hand scrub.

Is it possible to do a scented Eye Pad? How about adding the eye pads to the Apothecary lines?

I love the fact that we get to share our ideas with BeautiControl. Gary, you're the best. :)

Trina

I have several clients that do not like the sweet smell. How about the body powder instead of lotion. I love the spa sugar collection powder that is not longer available!

michelle

Nothing says Christmas like spiced cider (apple, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg). There is always room for chocolate. That hot fudge body scrub was AMAZING and so marketable! I can't believe we didn't keep it. Last year's sugar cookie SOH was so great, I put it in mixing bowls with a pack of cookies mix, spoons etc... So cute and sold like mad! Anything peppermint for apeppermint lovers set. Like everyone else...definitely body butters (but in the tub) and warming polishes.

Lisa

Hi Gary!
What about this: Pumpkin Butter Body Balm (with cinnamon!)and warming shower gel, Candy Apple Kisses Lip Balm(flavored and tinted), Spiced Pear Body Splash, and Sugar Plum Instant Hand Manicure.

Or something all in the same scent like Mandarin Spice that's not holiday related, but that is a bit more luxurious than you would use for everyday....along the lines of the Therma Del Sol type of products.
Whatever BC comes up with will be awesome!
Happy Thanksgiving! =)

Hector

I THINK THAT THE NEXT HOLIDAY COLLECTION NEED TO BE SWEET/SPICY/SENSUAL WITH A WARMING BODY SCRUB OF COURSE,DRY BODY OIL,BODY BUTTER, CREAMY BODY WASH(LIKE CARESS CREAMY BODY OIL BODY WASH) AND A BODY SPLASH ; ALL WITH THE SAME FRAGANCE(NOT LIKE NAUGHTY AND NICE)

Beth Padgett

OK Gary here's my fantasy Holiday line - "Sugar & Spice" with a sophisticated blend of holiday fragrances emphasizing the spice. Includes a warming hand/foot/body sugar scrub called either "Red Hot Cinnamon Sugar" or "Hot Buttered Rum". Bath Gel/bubble bath, Body Butter, Dry Body Oil and Room/Linen Spray with spicy cinnamon, nutmeg and fresh apple, pomegranite and orange elements. The packaging needs to be VERY eye catching and unique. A combo of the season's hot colors - if it were now I would say like Teal and pumpkin or bright purple and soft green. Also new, funky containers-balls - like ornaments? - maybe some swirls - texture that shows through container.
Just call me if you need me to run up and help!!:)

Jayne Phillips

I would like to have some sort of spicy scent...but if it is a lotion or body butter, make certain that I would want to smell like this all day. For instance, I think sugar cookie scent is great....but don't want to smell like a sugar cookie all day. I would like to see a bath foam come back like you had a couple of years ago with the ginger flakes. Also, I have requests for sprayed on body oils, like the City Garden line had. I know you and BC will come up with the best products. Thank you for asking our input!

Saralyn Ostwinkle

All this talk of other products makes me want many of our old lines! Maybe we need a vintage collection! many of the products that are being asked for we have had at different times of my career with BC! But as has been said.. you never let us down Gary!!! so you do what you do best and we will love it!!!

mMarie

I love the candy cane idea and during christmas people love the vanilla/fresh cookie scent as well. I would love to see a peppermint lip balm and other flavored lip balms or lip apeel in mint (candy cane!). Love shower gels and lotions and everything warming. I would have like to have seen a room diffusor for snowflake.

Kim

I am loving the idea of a cinnamon spice scent as well the candy cane idea. Also I REALLY want more body butters. (I am in love with the Naughty and Nice Snow Angel Body Sorbet!) Anything "warming" is a huge hit with my spa'ers. Would be interested to see see some flavored lip balms as well.

I love the City Garden fragrance, glad I stocked up for my personal use. I would like to see that fragrance returned in an Instant Manicure.

I would also like to see a Rose fragrance line. I don't care for body products that smell like food.

Maria Vega

The product that I wish for you guys to return is the City Garden Lip Balm. All the lip balms we have are great but I wish we can keep the city garden, that is not only temporarily.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Nedra

Hi Gary!

I personally have always wanted us to do a pumpkin product. Ever since Oprah featured it as one of her favorite things, I've been dying for us to have it!

For the holidays, I know myself and my clients could always use a rich bath gel and body butter. I am big user of the Olive Butter Body Balm and the Sugar Body Butter. But it would be fun to have something different for the holidays.

In Michigan, this is the time of year that our skin gets really dry and we start to get scaly patches of skin. Snowflake has done wonders for me so far, and I'd love to have something like that again next year!

Oh and a plug from my husband ... he is addicted to the Snowflake Winter Lip Conditioner. For the dryness and cold sores, he says it works even better than our lip balm or Platinum Regeneration!

Margaret Rizzo

Hi Gary,
I've been thinking about this fun assignment and the first thing that popped into my head was Cinnamon! Not the spicy smell, but the herbal stick smell. It smells so subtle yet... there. A relaxing and invigorating smell. What about lib balms that taste good. My clients are younger and whenever a lip balm comes out, the first thing they ask is about the taste. I know you will come up with something great!

Melissa

How about bringing back something like the Spiced Tea room spray & hand wash. My mother and aunt both raved about this scent. I stocked up as much as I could but that inventory got cleaned up quickly between the two of them!! It was hard to pick which one got the last one!

Dale

I have a couple of requests for next year. I have ladies who love SOH, but do not want something that smells like you could eat it. They would like something more herbal.
I have had numerous requests for a creme blush or stain. Clinique has discontinued their gel blush and I have had requests from skincare clients for something along that line.
I know that whatever Gary's team comes up with...it will be wonderful.
Happy Thanksgiving! I am grateful for my BC family.

Lucy

Hi Gary,

I think a cinnamon & spice might go well for those who are not interested in the sweet scents. For those who are, the candy cane theme would be awesome!! Also, I'd love to see a glitter eye liner for the holiday season. The lip balm for men is a fantastic idea as well!!! Can't wait to see what it'll be for next year!!!! Thanks for all that you do!!!!

Bethany Harrison

Ok, I always love the scents you guys come up with and it is hard for me to think up something new (though I would not at all be sad to see something similar to the hot fudge body scrub we had a few years back! I think about that every year at the holidays and get so mad at myself for not stocking up more). My suggestion is please, please, please make sure there is a warming body scrub of some sort! People LOVE the warming products and those are always my biggest sellers! Plus, they are so easy to demo. I just set them by the sink and have each guest try it on the inside of their arm after we do the instant manicure. Everyone always goes crazy!

Sharon Hughes

Hey Gary,
I love the Snowflake line, and I loved the Sugar Cookie SOH but I know that there's people who think that the scent is just too sweet for them. How about something spicy? Could you mix Candy Cane and Gingerbread? (Not in the same product, but in the same line? Maybe a Gingerbread based line but a Candy Cane lip conditioner or something? (One quick funny story for you: I have a consultant on my team with a client who LOVED the Sugar Cookie SO much that she kept a jar unopened and only decided she could open and enjoy it when she smelled the Snowflake one and knew she could stock up on that now!) Keep up the great work!
