Technology is changing at a faster rate than ever before. That means that we have to continue to grow and evolve. We can't do things the way we used to do them as a business because consumers today don't behave as they use to. Today's consumer expects immediate gratification, convenience, technology and mobility. That's why we continue to evolve and adapt the way we market our products and the tools that we give you to market your business to your consumers.
One of the newest technologies emerging onto the general market is something called QR codes. QR stands for Quick Response. By strategically placing these codes on your marketing materials, the customer can scan the code with their smart phone and it will take them to a website that is custom designed to deliver a message to the consumer and help offer insight to what the company is selling or who they are. It could be informational, promotional or educational, but the point is that it immediately creates a link between the company and the potential consumer to help encourage an action.
Where there are a variety of QR code readers that are available for you to download, we have partnered with a company called "Best Buzz" to bring a new and unique functionality to the QR code technology. Best Buzz has created a unique relationship with Facebook that automatically allows your customer to scan the QR code, see the video on their smart phone and have a message automatically post to their Facebook page, allowing each of their friends to see that they have "just learned how to turn back time with BeautiControl's new Regeneration Tight Firm and Fill Extreme". By leaving a click-able icon, the friends can also view the video.
Think about it...you have a customer who scans the code. She thinks it is cool, but she is not really interested in buying a new product; however, since the link was copied to her Facebook page, 10 of her 100 friends clicked on the link to learn more. By having one potential client scan the code, you have exposed your product to 10 additional people. Now how cool is that? We have a greater opportunity to take our business viral and reach more people than we ever could physically.
To get the Best Buzz app to use on your smart phone, you can either search for it in your app store on your phone or you can text the word "Beauti" to the number 822-57. If you have a Facebook page, you are missing an incredible opportunity if you don't take advantage of this tool.
