I have a client who has big cracks in the bottom of her feet. She has been using the Save your Sole Salve but says it stings and burns when her feet get this bad. Do we have a product to help deep cracks in feet? I wondered if she rubbed Show of Hands on her feet if it would help heal the cracks.
When a person’s skin in this bad of a condition, it is time for extreme treatment. In order to get her skin healed, I would recommend a two phased approach each night for at least a week. Apply the Extreme Repair face and body cream to the feet. Next, apply a generous layer of the Skinlogics Skin Hydrator (anti-ash cream). Put on a pair of socks over night. In a week or so, the skin should be in much better shape and your client can resume using the Save Your Sole products. Continued and regular use of these products should help prevent this from occurring again in the future.
I have been curious about the sourcing of BeautiControl ingredients: are raw materials sourced in the USA or from another location(s)? Understandably, Dead Sea Salts are presumably sourced at the Dead Sea, but what of other ingredients?
Yes, our ingredients are sourced from around the world. Many of our ingredients come from various European countries. We always search for the latest technology from around the globe to ensure that our products are leading the industry in global innovation.
I just received the ultimate Detox kit and was reading on the back of the box. It says not to use during pregnancy or nursing. Is the tea the only thing that cannot be used or is it talking all the products?
It is always my suggestion to discuss all the products that you are using with your physician if you are pregnant.
I have a hostess that asked what is the percentage of acids in the acid resurface peel.
This formula contains 30% of a multi-acid blend that includes glycolic acid, lactic acid, polyhydroxy acids, hibiscus flower acids and willow bark extract (which is a natural source of beta-hydroxy acids). It also contains vitamins and minerals to energize and strengthen the skin and green tea extract to protect the newly exposed skin cells from free radical damage.
I have a customer whose 23 year old daughter has very dark circles under her eyes. She is wondering what would be the best product for that: Platinum Advanced Eye Repair, Platinum Rejuvenating Eye Treatment, or something else.
Currently, the best products that we have for dark under-eye circles would be a combination of our Regeneration Overnight Eye Capsules and the Platinum Regeneration Eye Cream. The regular and continued use of these products will help to reduce dark circles under the eyes. For an immediate reduction in the appearance of dark circles, use the Platinum Regeneration Rejuvenating Eye Patches.
I have a client who has a thyroid and heart (mitro valve) condition. Would there be any products she should stay away from or be cautious of?
Our products are not systemic, meaning that they don’t enter the blood stream. There would be no concern with using topical products with these health issues unless there is a topical skin irritation that is present as a result of their condition. If in doubt; however, it is always best to seek the advice of your physician.
I noticed the new margarita lip scrub and body wash are not in the new books. Are these only for a limited time? If so, any idea for how long? People love the lip scrub in particular, and I want to make sure I stock up now if it isn't going to be around for long.
These products were introduced as limited life products to support our Margarita product line for the Summer. These products are available while supplies last, so if you love them, I would advise you to stock up on them while they are available.
I have several customers who are having problems with the Clear line. They have used the All Clear for several years and after switching to the Clear line and using at least 2 complete sets of the Clear line they are still having trouble with their skin.
I have found that when people who have concerns with acne continue to have problems, it is often the results of either not using the complete line regularly, or trying to use too many products. Here is my recommendation when you encounter a client that have acne skin care issues:
- Skinlogics Clear Cleanser
- Skinlogics Clear Tonic
- Skinlogics Clear Scrub/Mask – used as a mask 2 to 3 times per week
- Cell Block C Multivitamin Capsules in the AM
- Regeneration Overnight Serum in the PM
- Skinlogics Clear Moisturizer
I would recommend this simple regimen for at least 4 to 6 weeks. Once the skin has acclimated, I would recommend adding the Cell Block C AM.
My clients have relied on the following products for the last 10 years. The discontinued products are: Corticure Lotion, Demarkable Skin Lotion, and Sunlogics SPF 30. My clients and I depend on these products. Please do not discontinue them.
As I mentioned in a blog a few weeks ago, Corticure has been on a discontinuation plan for more than a year based on very poor sales. Because of your feedback, we are giving Corticure one more chance. We have placed an order for additional tubes and this product will be back on line during September.
Demarkable is being replaced with a new scar/stretchmark/spider vein treatment next year.
Unfortunately, there are products that have to be discontinued. I know this can be an emotional issue for many. It is for me as well. Remember, each of these products was created by my team, so I am very connected with each one of them. It is disappointing when a product does not meet our required sales minimums to keep them in the line. We fully realize that
Most of the time, when items are discontinued it is due to the fact that it has been replaced by new technology which has made it redundant or obsolete. There are, however, times that a product must be discontinued for the simple fact that we do not sell enough to meet our required sales minimums.
Let me give you an example:
- The average order minimum for a component (tube, bottle, etc.) is 25,000 pieces. This means that when we place an order for a bottle or a tube, the least amount that we can purchase is 25,000 pieces.
- Our MINIMUM tank capacity is 1,000 kilos of product. Just to put that into perspective, in order to run a batch, we must make a MINIMUM of 35,270 ounces of product. 32,270 ounces of product would make:
- 35,270 jars of Tight Fix, Tight Eyed or Skin Lightening Complex
- 20,748 bottles of Regeneration
A GREAT product will sell on average of 30,000 to 50,000 units a month. A GOOD selling product will sell on average of 7,000 to 10,000 units a month. Anything that sells less than 1,000 units a month gets put on “probation” and we must take a hard look at whether or not we can afford to keep this product in the line based on the above facts.
As you can see from this example, a product that sells 1,000 units a month would take 25 months JUST to use up the bottles that we had to purchase for that product, not to mention the amount of product that we had to make and fill into those bottles.
Our business runs just like your business but on a larger scale. When our shelves are full of old products, it makes it difficult to make room for the new “stuff” that keeps the business current in the market.
I hope this gives you a good insight into our processes and limitations so you can better understand why we are forced to discontinue items from time to time.
Remember, if you have product questions, please send them to product@beauticontrol.com
I hope you all have an amazing weekend. Be sure to check back in on Monday.
