Hey Everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. I got to spend the weekend with a group of very exciting Directors and Consultants who earned the trip to Hollywood for the "Be a Celebrity" promotion. I am sure you have seen pictures from the trip on Facebook or from some of your sister Consultants who earned the trip. We had a really great time. I hope all of you will join us later in the year at the Grand Velas All Suites Resort and Spa in the Mayan Riviera. This all inclusive destination is unlike any property that we have ever traveled and I know you won't want to miss it.
I see that we have a good deal of questions on some consistent topics coming into the product email box. Here are the top questions this past week:
Q. I have several clients that have been using the heavy duty moisturizer since it first came out. Why was it discontinued and what product can I recommend in its place?
I, too, am sorry to see this product discontinued. Like all of our products, it was a great product that had a following. Unfortunately, the sales of this product have declined to a point that we can no longer manufacture it. The smallest amount of product that we would be able to manufacture of this product would create enough product to last us several years at the pace that this product sells. For those clients who used this product and need additional moisture, there are a few things to recommend:
- If they are not using TFF and/or their recommended Regeneration daytime products, these are amazing moisturizers
- Extreme Repair Face and Body Cream or the Skinlogics Platinum Plus night cream used both AM and PM is great substitute for Heavy Duty Moisturizer.
The new wet/dry package was created for a few reasons. First, we want to create a package that more closely resembled the new format of our BC Color line. In addition, we wanted to ensure that our compacts were both portable and stackable based on the feedback from our Consultants and customers who felt that the previous compact was bulky and cumbersome. The previous compact contained .5oz of powder while the new compact contains .4oz of powder. The amount looks significantly less than before since the pan is deeper, rather than wider, which makes it more durable in transport and prevents it from crumbling when using.
Q. Are there still any plans at all for the Corticure lotion to be discontinued? Is this product still in jeopardy?
Currently, we are planning to keep Corticure in the line on a trial base to see if sales improve.
Q. I just received the new Product Guides for January and I noticed that there are some products that are not included in them. Can you tell me why?
There are products that will be phased out of the line based on sales performance and there are also products that will be re-formulated or re-branded and replaced in the coming months. We chose not to include these items in the Product Guide since we will not re-print the Product Guides until August. We will notify you well in advance of a product going away so you can stock up on any items that you know may be a favorite of some of your clients.
I hope this was helpful. Have a great week and I will see you all back here next Monday so I can share with you all the exciting things that will be happening in February.
