Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Welcome to February…a month that will prove to be a very exciting month for everyone. I am sure you have received your Achiever and see that this is going to be a month full of activity drivers to help your business reach new heights.
As I discussed in January, we have dramatically modified our Marketing strategies for 2010 and you can probably start to see a pattern as you review January and February offers. Our goal is to partner with you more effectively to help you grow your business in 2010. There are several very specific strategies that we have implemented that will ensure your success and development of a strong client base:
Quarterly “Front-load” strategy for New Product Introductions:
We have a very clear focused strategy for new product introductions in 2010. In the past, we have been guilty of introducing so many new products at such a rapid pace that it was difficult to learn how to use them and how to position them in your Spa. In 2010, you will see our key product introductions concentrated at the beginning of each quarter and they will remain the primary focus of the Spa for the entire quarter and be supported with Hostess and Booking incentives. January was a great example…the BC Spa Manicure and BC Spa Body will play a huge part in your Spas for the first quarter. The Manicure On The Go bag is a great Hostess Booking Gift and the Manicure Set and gloves is a great way to reward your Hostess when her Spa reaches $500. We will still have product introductions on a monthly basis, but these will be products that will help supplement your sales and drive activity, rather than being key new products that will be the primary focus of your selling situation.

Monthly “Front-load” strategy more Merchandising Offers:
As you saw in January and will continue to see in February, we have created multiple offers that are more appealing earlier in the month to encourage earlier ordering. The key to this business is being able to book Spas in advance in order to feed the sales pipe-line. The new Client Brochure strategy that I have mentioned in great detail in previous blogs, will help you book your business into the next month so you can be assured that you always have a steady pip-line of Spas and sales and client re-orders. The end of the month is not a time to be worried about placing orders. The end of the month should be dedicated to booking future business and preparing for the next month. The early ordering opportunities will allow you and your teams to get your sales in early, so you can close your month with confidence and prepare for the month ahead of you. There will always be greater incentives at the first of the month to help your teams order early. The BEST time to order in February is between the 1st and the 11th. There are so many offers in place based on your ordering level that you will without a doubt not want to miss this opportunity. In addition to all the free gifs available for ordering between the 1st and 11th of February, you also get the best deal on the annual Skinlogics Sale. From the 1st – 11th, you will be able to take an additional 25% off on all Skinlogics products. If you wait until the 18th to place an order, you will only be able to save an additional 15% on Skinlogics. Be sure to take a look at page 20 of the February Achiever to see the chart that we created outlining all the Offers and Rewards for February. It is easy to see on this chart that the best ordering opportunities are early. You can also download this chart from BeautiNet to share with your teams and encourage them to take advantage of the early ordering opportunities.
Quarterly “Push Months” to Generate Higher Sales Activity:
Once a quarter, we will have what we call “Push Month”. These are months that are enhanced with special rewards and offers to help generate “record setting” months for you and your teams. In addition to the added rewards for ordering, such as the amazing Bank Bag and Business Card Holder (see page 20 of the February Achiever), you will also see that we have enhanced the value of our $500 Spa Reward. During February, we have added the Cuticle Oil Pen to the collection to give your Hostess even more incentives for booking and holding Spas. During these months, you also have the opportunity to log into the Client Connection section of BeautiNet and choose to mail out the Client Brochure to those on your client list. Since February is our annual skin care sale, this is a great time to mail your client list one of these amazing brochures to encourage them to order, allow them to see the new products and entice them to book a Spa with you in February. The more of these you send out, the more profits you will receive in return. Your clients won’t know that you are having a sale on your products unless you let them know that you are…and you know how much clients love to take advantage of a sale.
Cascading Product Introductions:
As you saw with the BC Spa Solutions Under-eye Dark Circle and Puffiness treatment, the Cheetah Kit and the new BC Spa Solutions Scar, Stretchmark and Spidervein Minimizing Cream, we have implemented a new roll-out strategy for new product introductions. Throughout the year, we will have various products that will be introduced to the Consultant first as an ordering incentive, then be available either as a Hostess Reward for a period of time, or be introduced as a regular item for you to offer your clients. We want to ensure that our Consultants are the first to try these amazing new products before they are available for general purchase. The more confident you are with the products that we sell, the better equipped you will be to sell them when they are available for your clients.
Enhanced Client Marketing Tools:
As I have explained in great detail in previous blogs, we now have our Client Brochures on a monthly basis that will allow you to use in a variety of ways to increase your sales. Use them as you are Hostess Coaching to encourage your Hostess to get outside orders to help her achieve a $500 Spa or use after the Spa to get outside orders. Once she sees the beautiful rewards that she receives when her Spa reaches $500, she will be sure to help increase the sales totals so she doesn’t miss out on the amazing gifts. You can also use these brochures as order drops or client contact brochures to enhance your one on one and reorder sales. We have so many wonderful testimonials from people about how these brochures have enhanced their sales. Be sure to auto-enroll in automatic deliver of the brochures so you can receive the brochures a few weeks before the beginning of each month to help you book future business into the following month. You will be the first to know about the forth-coming month’s offers and rewards.
In addition to the Client Brochures, we have also re-designed the Product Guides to be more consumer friendly. We know that your customers are more likely to order from a catalog that offers them a more beautiful image. Our previous Product Guides were very sterile and not visually appealing to the consumer. I think you will agree that the new Product Guides are much more in line with the image that you will be proud to present to your current and future clients. And remember, you can mail these through Client Connection at any time. These are always available for you to send out so you can keep your clients reminded of all the amazing products that we have to offer. These are updated twice a year, so be sure to send these out to your clients at least twice annually.
Enhanced Booking Tools and $500 Spa Rewards:
Every month you will have our commitment to provide you with both Booking Rewards that you can purchase to offer your Hostess as well as a $500 Spa Reward to help increase your Spa sales. We have seen great success with this program and have seen Spa sales dramatically increase as a result. Be sure to let all your Hostesses know about the rewards and watch your sales climb.
