This is a great time to start planning to include W.H.O. at our upcoming April Director Meetings and May Success Meetings.
Some ideas to generate excitement and bring us closer to our goal are:
- Basket raffle
- 50/50
- $20 donation from all attendees to commemorate our 20th Anniversary.
Special news: There will be a ribbon at our Success Meetings for anyone that donates $20 or more that day! $20 for 20 Years! We hope EVERYONE will be wearing this W.H.O. ribbon at the end of the day!
Please consider what just $20 can do for those in need…
- Provide 33 low-income children with a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss
- Provide 10 survivors of domestic violence with training materials to help them reach self-sufficiency
- Provide delivery of meals for a week to a low-income senior citizen
- Provide a “comfort bag” of school supplies, books, new t-shirts, socks, hygiene items, a stuffed animal and games for a child removed from her/his home
- Provide a new pair of shoes for an under-served child
You won't want to miss the chance to take funds back to a charity in your own community through our Volunteer Service Grant opportunity. This is always a very special time at Celebration that we recognize our grant recipients onstage. If you volunteer for a charity in your community, apply now for a W.H.O. Volunteer Service Grant. Complete the application on BN>Business Tools>Forms on File>WHO - application due to the W.H.O. office no later than May 21st.
I'm thrilled to share with you our goal update - as of February 28th we have raised $300,000 towards our $450,000 goal by Celebration! With 4 months+ still remaining, I am excited to see what we will do!!
Thank you for helping us change lives and make a difference for those that need it most.
